The 5 disastrous events in world history that Humans would like to undo.

What if time travel is possible?

There are so many events in world history that change the course of the world and humans would like to undo them, if given a chance by time travel.

World War –II, which was fought from 1939 to 1945, was the largest and deadliest war  in human history

1. World War II (1939-45)

It is believed that World War II took 60 to 80 million lives which also includes 6 million Jews who were killed by Hitler-led Nazis during the Holocaust.

2. Slavery (Early History to 1948)

Slavery is believed to have existed since the beginning of recorded history and was practiced all over the world.

Slavery was usually involuntary and the slave was deprived of liberty and human rights.

In 1948 the UN adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which declared freedom from slavery as an internationally recognized human right.

3. Climate Change

climate change is real and we have to accept it. climate change has become one of the biggest threats to the Planet Earth.

Scientists believe that by 2040 the global temperature will increase by 1.5°C from the pre-industrial levels.  This will lead to more heatwaves, intense storms, droughts, and floods.

4. Atomic Bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (1945)

During the final stages of WW2, America detonated two atomic bombs over Hiroshima and Nagasaki on 6 August 1945 and 9 August 1945.

These bombings killed 1,29,000 to 2,26,000 people.

Those who survived these bombings, known as Hibakusha, had to suffer the aftermath of the ARS.

5. The Holodomor (1932-33)

The Holodomor, the Great Ukrainian Famine, was part of the wider Soviet famine of 1930-33.

In Ukraine, starvation was selectively weaponized and the famine was “instrumentalized” against Ukrainians.

According to historians, 7 million to 10 million people lost their lives during the period 1932 to July 1933.

Instances of widespread ‘cannibalism’ during Holodomor were also documented.
